Sustainable Systems at New Life Children's Home

This gigantic mango tree provides shade from the grueling sun and is a favorite place to hang out or hold class.
The compost bins next to the garden that the orphans tend to. They're made of shipping pallets that have been nailed together.

The talapia ponds. The children take care of them and then eat them when they're big enough.

The rabbit cages are next to the talapia ponds and their poop is collected each morning by the orphans and used as feed for the talapia.

They have two chicken tractors (coops on wheels that move so that the chickens forage/fertilize different areas and have protection). The children take care of the chickens, move the tractors every couple of days, and collect the eggs.
